Fisher Elementary is excited to be providing the district with afterschool Program in part with 21st Century Grant funding. Afterschool enrichment programs are offered for k-5th in six week sessions that occur throughout the school year. Students have been engaged in various activities from strategizing with chess, reading red clover books, experimenting with science projects, learning about Greek myths, decorating cupcakes and learning French and sign language. Daily Connections operates in conjunction with the enrichment sessions for students in grades 3rd through 5th and runs every full school day. We extend our services throughout the summer for a four week Summer Connections Program. This program offers support for students to refresh on their academic skills from 8:00am- 12:00pm. For the second portion of the summer day students sign up for various enrichments such as origami, studying rocks, nature journaling, learning about animal tracks, building K’nex and creating edible science projects.
