Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bennington County
This is a community-based program that offers children 5-14 the opportunity to meet with a Big Brother or Big Sister on their own time. Most matches meet after school, in the evenings, or on the weekends. They do things such as shooting baskets in at the park, baking cookies, or playing board games. To build a solid friendship, the volunteer will meet with their Little 2-3 times a month for a couple of hours each meeting.
